In the last 2 months I have experienced HAIR loss, no weight loss, chest pains, heachaches, stiff joints, break-outs on my face, insomnia and fatique. I started SS early December.
Hi I hope that you are off SS, because that is SOME of the side effects. Some of the side effects appears after about a month on SS. When you go of SS it will take about 1 to 2 weeks just for some of the side effects to slow down. You will have scars of the skin condition and some of the “pimples” will stay swollen for more that 3 weeks. If it will go away. Some people had to go to a skin specialist to get help on that one. Your hair will stop falling out but can have another fall-out after about 2 weeks. That is if you don’t have a over active thyroid which is one of the side effects. But fortunately your thyroid can return to normal function after you stopped using this drug. You are just in time to stop using SS. The weight is one of those things. You lost a lot, but def. not weight. So sorry. You are not the only one.Good luck!
