I was flown specially by Simply Slim where they were going to examine me to find out what is the reason i got all these side effects. The end result is i was told that i am 1 in 40000 users that it must not be working with my system. Then i found out the following about Simply Slim that Maruis Venter failed to tell me as we met (he is the developer of Simply Slim) as surely he must know the side effect and what is used in Simply Slim

Ek was ook op ss, en het vanaf die 2de week snaaks begin voel. Angstig, so dat ek benoud was. Ek het ook goosebumps gehad, hoofpyn, oe wat nie wil fokus nie, en ek het baie goeie sig. Ek het die agente gekontak, hul stuur net vir my trug daar is niks fout met Simply Slim nie, Vandag toe ek hul se hoekom is dit dan ontrek van die rakke stuur hulle vir my terug: Hulle verkoop nogsteeds Simply slim met goeie resultate, en ek moet mar die pille laat toets!!!

Hi, i’ve been on simply slim now for three months and i must say i haven’t had any of the side effects.This is my last box, cause thanks to ss i reach my goal. I did consult my doctor and use the product the correct way. I’m also buying mine from a agent that knows what she’s selling and always inform people about possible side effects. It is true that when your body detox you can go through a few unpleasant experiences that doesn’t last forever. That’s one of the things ss does. I have never felt better in my life, feel even better about myself now and got my confidence back. I have tried numerous other products, didn’t work and also the so called natural and healthy stuff. If you go and look at any of the products on the shelves you will find something in there that might not be good for you if you don’t use the right quantities or if you don’t use it the correct way.I know i’m gonna get blasted writing this, people don’t want to hear anything good.Quite frankly i don’t care, ss helped me and i’m looking good and i’m still healthy.

Hi Johan, I started using SS in September last year, had very bad side affects, the normal every one has complained about, heart racing thru the roof, dizziness, drymouth etc, it affected my sinus badly. (I lost 3kg and cm in the month). I stopped for a month thinking I was just run down, then bought another packet in November as I had gained my 3kg and cm. The agent I bought my SS from, is also an over weight lady, but she told me that she had to stop taking SS, as she suffers low blood pressure, and SS is VERY BAD for low blood pressure sufferers, this was feedback given to her from the SS Team???? Do they ask if you have low blood pressure when buying??? NO!!! All the symptoms came back, sinus worse than ever, leg cramps like I have never known, I had a very bad cramp, so bad that it burst surface veins in my leg, felt like I had been shot in the leg, this happened in December, the doctors thought I had deep vein thrombosis, so had to go for all the DV scans and sonars etc, my leg is still very swollen, but I stopped SS, as it was not worth the agony, I love my body, but was told SS will make you feel good, give you energy……….. I have less energy than before. Good for those that can take SS, but for some we should stick with our “happy self”.
I started using Simply Slim on Sunday 31st Jan 2010. By Sunday evening started with minor palpitations. Have made a conscious effort to eat right this last week, however have never felt this terrible in my life!!! Am unbelievably tired, and my heart is completely irregular, with the constant sensation of pins and needles running through my body and head. When I asked for Simply Slim at the pharmacy, I was advised they are no longer allowed to sell it, and then bought it from an agent selling at festival mall. I should have stuck to my gut feeling when I noted the Agent’s facial expression on Saturday… I think he knows damn well he’s selling poison!!!
Quite frankly the agents selling SS are no more than glorified drug dealers and everyone of them should be held accountable!!! I struggle to comprehend why this stuff is legal… and the pamphlet says NOTHING??? No side affects my @#$!!!

I have been on simply slim for 3 weeks now. The only side effects I have is slight heartburn and headache. My appetite is not suppressed and I have gained 3 kg in the past 3 weeks! I dont suppose I will get my money back

Simply Slim has some serious side effects, Yes there was an article that appeared in the Beeld newspaper, you can contact Antionette at the following mail address and request that she send you the copy: aapienaar@beeld.comI landed up in hospital and I quiet frankly was convinced I was going to die. I was on the SS tablets for 4 weeks when the side effects kicked in, I am not talking about the detox headaches or feeling a little faint from time to time, I am talking some serious side effects. I have since been told that there is a possibility that there might be a case of sabotage involved with a batch of tablets that have been brought in from China by a certain agent. If these rumors are true or not I am not the detective on the case.What really makes me so mad is no matter how many messages you leave for the owners or how many e-mails you send they never get back to you………my question is why, surely if you have a customer who has had these side effects you would want to assist and help as much as you possibly can. It goes even further, last week I visited the agent I bought my first batch from and she was shocked to hear my symptoms, she promised that she would personally get the owners to contact me, am I surprised that nobody has contacted me…..NO!!!! This agent also told me that I am not the first person to complain of side effects.I did have a very helpful agent contact me two weeks ago (not from head office) who asked me to go on a 3 day trial eating what she outlined for me, it took me a few days to pluck up the courage to swallow the pill after all I had been through but I eventually did it, I have been on the SS pill again for 2 weeks, today is the first day I am feeling a little dizzy and my eyes are red and very fuzzy. It would appear that I was not eating enough at the time of my collapse, I am now eating the 6 meals a day (as outlined and planned by the SS agent) I am still loosing inches not that much weight. In total I have lost 19 kg since the 6th December.My honest opinion is you must try the pills for your self, I personally don’t think the pill is a very healthy one. No matter what a label says i.e. 100% natural, please don’t be fooled, natural can also kill you!!!!There is also another pill on the market that I am told is manufactured by a certain gentleman that had very close relations with the SS company, who on discovering that SS was using sibutramine he decided to break away and produce a safer pill (the name evades me for the moment, I will post the name tomorrow) might be interesting to try and establish if this story is true. Come on Johan you like a good story???It does amaze me that all the agents who sell SS are in total denial about the product, they all say the pill has no side effects, bull read all the post’s not only on this site, but on just about every site you can find with the words ‘side effects of simply slim’Lastly, have you noticed how over weight some of the agents are that are selling the products… what a laugh, a few agents I spoke to in the North West Province are really dik!!!! I wonder if they have tried Simply Slim??? It is all about the money…….lots of commission and that is that!!!!
Hi Johan, great job exposing SS. The product contains illegal (or scheduled) substances and is obviously dangerous to some people. Why is it not confiscated and banned? Or are they waiting the next batch of test results?

What is going on at the moment with all this? Why is the media so quiet and when are we going to hear the results? Is there an investigation going on, or is it all done and over now? Is SS still on the market and is it going to stay on the market?
I read all the comments and did research on the internet and decided to take SS anyway. I have experienced the same side effects: dry mouth, terrible headaches, dizzyness, skin reactions and insomnia but after a weeks use I have stop taking SS when I became anxious and my heart raced. I have never been depressed or psycotic. I have read the half page of SS in Die Burger denying.. everything but it was really interesting to read about the lady that was hospitilized with heart problems due to SS and test done on the product, yeah!! it does contain sibutramine, a sceduled drug. I want to tell those that are so impressed by the product. Are you going to feel the same way if doctors tell you that you have caused irrepairable damage to your heart? It took me two weeks to be my normal self. You need to take responsibilty for your own health and watch the news papers, this is just the beginning. I hope SS has enough money to deal with all the law suits. Good Luck

Hi JohanJust to update. I bought SS through a pharmacy. Told them my story and was told to phone Karel von Molke and SS head office. Needless to say no answer. NOT SURPRISE Phone owner of pharmacy and got full refund. He told me that he is in the process of recalling all SS stock. I am grateful that certain people are taking responsiblity. I think the more pressure is put on them, like what you are doing, will make SS realize that the people of SA aren’t fools. Once bitten twice shy

Suzette, that’s the main problem of all these products. I call them and there providers fly by nights. Don’t ye think. The millions they make will prob. go towards law suits. If you go on these things you WILL have the side effects later in life. If you smoke now, it will effect you in years to come. Same with eating habits, if you eat to much over December holidays, you will only see the effect in about a month’s time. Do you think people snap this concept? And the joke of all is that we are trying to help people but you know what? You can take them to the mountain, but you can’t take the mountain to them. At least we are healthy and will not have the degree of bone loss, kidney and liver probs, heart and strokes probs. Or forgetfulness and in dreamy languor state being caused by Indian Lotus (Nelumbo Nucifera) White Lily. My friend is on SS. She has Strep.virus in her mouth, bladder infections, she has allergic reactions towards mosquito bites (looks like pox)and abnormal bruises. She is on such a wibe. We put a scorpion on her plate the other day. She looked at it and said;:”hi what is this……………….” Hallo anybody in there. He body still looks the same to me. Need I say more.
Candy i agree with you. I smoked all my life and gave it up 17 years ago but i think there is still some damage that was done. I was doing fine on my own and changed my eating habits, stopped using sugar, only low gi bread and that alone changed me. Then a simply slim agent lied to me about you can use simply slim and don\’t exercise eat what you want and it will even better my sugar problem i have – before is started simply slim i had my sugar under control with no medication but now months after simply slim am now battling with my sugar again. I have just complete a 10 juice diet lost 16kg, cycle, swim and walk and is feeling much better. The only side effects i now have is having to get smaller clothes and have a clear head and feeling better. Yes it is not easy these days as there is so much nice stuff to eat and so many takeaways but it can be done. Thanks for your advice and trust people will follow it. Speak to your friend to get of this stuff as it is poison to her body
OMG this is scary!!!! I thought I was getting anxiety attacks for the 1st time in my life! Can’t run anymore – get so tight chested – feels like i can’t breathe the whole time! Some people have said too much water (like the amounts of water SS prescribe you drink) is bad for you.Here’s what experts say on drinking water:Dietary recommendations. The Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day and women consume 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.So to add to that…if you had to consume the recommended dosage of beverages a day (for a male like me) 3 litres…make it just water and no other crap(i.e coffee…fissy’s etc)…then eventually you would probably lose weight anyway, THE HEALTHY WAY..without SS.Start cutting out sugars etc…and you’re well on your way…JOHAN…a hint to you…give people cold hard unbiased facts and let them make an informed decision…childish mud sling & name calling will definitely accomplish nothing!
Not sure what your motive is for commenting here and yes what you say is true. When i had problems with simply slim they told me to increase my water intake to 5lt and that is bull. If you take 5lt water for 7 days you will loose weight but your system will suffer. If you take simply slim that contains as tested and proved upto 39mg of sibutramine it will stuff up your system – as for your second post i will answer you here.

am a person who has been on a number of medications in my life & who is currently on a number of strong medications. I consulted my doctor before taking Simply Slim & he ensured me it was fine. The only side effects I have suffered from are the dry mouth which didn’t last too long, the bad breath for which I chew lots of gum and the occassional headache – which I normally get anyway. I feel healthier, have loads more energy than I did before and my clothes feel looser. I am now on my second course having taken a two week break and have just bought a scale having not weighed myself during the first 6 weeks. It is cheaper than going to the dietician. I watch what I eat, drink as much water as I can manage – some days are better than others but slowly I am changing my old habits. It’s all about wanting to change. There is nothing wrong with the product. As with everything some things agree with some but not with others. If it doesnt agree with you move on and find something that does.
@Liz – Inform your doctor that simply slim have been tested positive for sibutramine but on second thoughs sound like you are already on drugs so another won\’t make any difference to you. You say you are changing you old habits – Let us hope that includes all the drugs you on

Reductil has been on the market for years and has been recommened by doctors the world over so what makes you the expert? You need to read – nowhere did i say it didn\’t work – i never lost any weight but lots of people have but at what cost. Did you know that simply slim pays – R20 per box and the agents make between R150 to R300 per box – now if that is not taking the public for a ride then what is.

Hi Lis,I posted a feedback on my side effects on this site and many others mid Jan. Simply Slim has some serious side effects, Yes there was an article that appeared in the Beeld newspaper,you can contact Antionette at the following mail address and request that she send you the copy: aapienaar@beeld.comI landed up in hospital and I quiet frankly was convinced I was going to die. I was on the SS tablets for 4 weeks when the side effects kicked in, I am not talking about the detox headaches or feeling a little faint from time to time, I am talking some serious side effects. I have since been told that there is a possibilty that there might be a case of sabotage involved with a batch of tablets that have been brought in from China by a certain agent. If these rumours are true or not I am not the detective on the case.What really makes me so mad is no matter how many messages you leave for the owners or how many e-mails you send they never get back to you………my question is why, surely if you have a customer who has had these side effects you would want to assist and help as much as you possibly can. It goes even further, last week I visited the agent I bought my first batch from and she was shocked to hear my symptoms, she promised that she would personally get the owners to contact me, am I surprised that nobody has contacted me…..NO!!!! In total I have lost 19 kg since the 6th December.My honest opinion is you must try the pills for your self, I personally dont think the pill is a very healthy one. You story is a bit confusing as you ended up in hospital and now back on ss and already getting side effects. Rather go and see a doctor and get a script for reductil as then it is legal and he will monitor you.

Seriously though be careful with simply slim – my wife is taking a product also with bitter orange and she have lost just over 2kg in 2 1/2 weeks. No side effects and it works great. The price is also R200 and is manufactured in SA (not chinese crap) and is a safe product. I am not sure how much you over weight but i myself did a juice diet for 10 days and lost 16kg – very intense but it works and that has given me the jumpstart i needed. No pills just fruit and veggies.

I am being monitored by a specialist doctor (lets say he is going to try and prove a point about SS) I have started with side effects again, I think I can only push another day or two before I stop. I got a report from somebody that came across a agent selling simply slim and she was the size of a bus. The person asked her if she uses simply slim since she is selling. I have a query – can anybody else comment? I started taking SS on 4 January – I bought a starter kit which had 12 caps in it. I started getting the most terrible headache on that same day. I never connected the two, and thought that it was just stress. The headache just got worse and worse. I went to see two different doctors, got injections both times (which did nothing), and eventually ended up going for physio. I have never experienced anything like that in my life. I had to take sleeping pills to sleep (although I was aware of the insomnia as a side effect). My other problem is that I started to battle to breathe. Felt as though I couldn’t get any oxygen into my body and my lungs felt as though they were going to burst – they were extremely painful.As I said, my SS lasted for 12 days. Problem is, although the headache is still niggling, I am still battling to breathe properly. My heart pounds so hard that I can feel it in my ears, teeth and arms. Even the pain in my teeth has been excruciating, which I thought was sinus, but the Dr said not. I didn’t tell the Dr that I was taking SS, because I was embarrased. Guess I should have and might have saved a lot on Dr’s bills.I had my last SS on 15 January. If the symptoms that I have been experiencing are as a result of the SS, when will they go away? How long does this stuff take to work out of your system?Somebody help – I can’t go on like this. Plus I feel so depressed its just not funny anymore (guess if one feels this awful physically, you can hardly expect to feel great mentally/emotionally) but I just want to feel better now, and don’t know how to get my body healthy again. Please, somebody tell me what to do?
@Nelly Sorry to hear about your problem – the stuff you having is caused by the sibutramine present in simply slim which is illegal – as i am not a doctor i can suggest you go and see your doctor but you could also detox yourself by going on a 3 day water fast as that should clean out most of the toxins. a water fast is not easy but i have done 5 21day water fasts in my life and the detox works very well. – a person that smokes if they go on a 3 day water fast only will break the habit – Greetings Johan

So you actually prepared to jump of a building to loose weight if i understand you correctly. You have identified your problem \”eating my self to death\” so you need to work on the root of this problem and not the symptoms. There are many other ways to loose weight that taking a product that is suspect such as simply slim. For you Daisy no pill will work and only a lifestyle change will work for you.

I need to add that currently they are pushing for ciplatrim and even reductil to be banned in the EU as there have been some reported deaths. From some research the legal limit is 10mg sibutramine and simply slim was tested containing upto 39mg sibutramine. No wonder people are having these problems – Johan

Ek het in November eerste keer Simply Slim begin gebruik. Die eerste dag was OK, maar teen die tweede dag het dit gevoel asof my brein bewe, vel kriewel ens ens. Raad van suksesvolle SS gebruikers was: Eet eers iets vroeg in die oggend en neem dan die pil, drink BAIE water ens ens. Het alles reg gevolg. Daarna het ek dit net elke tweede dag begin gebruik. Die simptome van een pil het vir twee dae in my lyf gebly.
Terwyl ek die pil gedrink het kon ek niks lees nie, my sig was aangetas (het nog steeds nagevolge daarvan), ek het alles laat val, in goed vasgeloop, my brein het gebewe, gewens ek gaan dood, hartklopping, vel wat kriewel, hardlywig, lusteloos.
Ek het wel gewig veloor maar die prys wat ek betaal het is nie die kg’e werd nie.
DIT WERK , neem jou eetklus weg maar ook alles anders.
Ek het nog heelwat pille in my verpakking oor, het die kleur vergelyk met die wat beweer word is die “skadelose regte SS”.
Ek het nog baie kapsules oor en ek glo ook nie ek weet van iemand van wie ek so min hou sodat ek dit vir hulle kan gee.
Vir my 5c (of liewer 59000c werd), enigeiemand wat net gesond eet en so BAIE water drink, sal jy in elk geval gewig verloor, SONDER GEVAARLIKE newe effekte.

Whoever posted this comment has not considered the facts. Simply Slim has (on several occasions) had product taken for testing by the MCC (Medicines Control Council). At no stage has the MCC found anything illegal in Simply Slim. If they had they would immediately stop Simply Slim from trading. The samples that have tested for Subitramine have not come from Simply Slim, or Simply Slim accredited sources. This is why the MCC has not taken any action against Simply Slim to date.
@Lance Rothschild – As you are from Simply Slim maybe you would be so kind to answer all the complaints about you company here. Is it now the order of the day to say that all simply slim that is tested positive for subitramine is all of a sudden not from SIMPLY SLIM ACCREDITED SOURCES May i note that the “tests” done by the sabs that tested negative the sources cannot be confirmed – but all the other ones are confirmed as coming from SIMPLY SLIM HEAD OFFICE as stated in the Beeld – Johan

Ek het presies dieselfde “simptome” as Janine. Loop vir weke met oe wat so jeuk en brand dat dit voel asof ek blind raak, alles begin ook blur, my vel onder my oe voel of dit “gebrand” het, als rooi en opgeswel.Ekt gedink dis te doen met my sinus, en drink aanhoudend anti histamine en sinuspille, gooi heeltyd oogdruppels in, maar niks werk nie. Ek het tot al my grimering weggegooi en gedink dis dit, en vir weke sonder grimering geloop om te kyk of dit beter raak, maar dit raak elke dag net erger! tot iemand my gstraand sms en vertel die Dr het uitgevind haar oe is so agv SimplySlim. My hare val ook onsettend baie uit en het baie warmgloede. Ek is baie teleurgesteld in die produk, dis soos iemand se, dis baie geld om uit te haal, vir ‘n kamstige “natuurlike produk”…. maar hoe se hulle: If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is!!
I am sorry to hear about the negative effects so many have experienced. I have been taking Simply Slim since November and have lost 14 kgs. The first 3 days i had headaches, battled to sleep and was thirsty which i expected as per the leaflet on the box. I took a 2 weeks break during the Xmas period and have had no unusual side effects since going back on the pills. When i started i made a conscious effort to eat better, i eat a lot of fruit throughout the day as well as eating 3 meals. I cannot manage to drink 3l of water a day – more like 1.5l. I have always been a bit of an insomniac but suffered nothing more extensive than what was normal for me. I never went through an agent when i bought the product – i ordered it on the internet after reading about the ingrediants, side effects, and results. I am on my 3rd box which will be my last box and i have been walking on the beach every other day for 40 minutes weather permitting in the morning. I have had no other side effects mentioned here, but i do find i have more energy. I do feel like a million bucks, but also look forward to getting off the last couple of kilos this month and staying off the product thereafter, hoping that the lifestyle i have now developed stays firmly in place. I do realise everybody’s physiology is unique and therefore this product will not work for everyone, but it has definately been the only pill and/or diet that has ever worked for me. regards Toni

I have been using SS for 24 days. The first week I felt ok. I mean I had the excessive dry mouth, but since the agent warned me about that I was sort of prepared and in a weird way excited that it was dry, because then it MUST be working. I drank water like it was going out of fashion. By the end of week 1 I had lost 7kg. Oh the excitement! I could almost see the skinny me, so was determined to stick to this new eating plan.
Week 2 things started to change… I turned into this irritable, nasty person who even I didn’t recognize. For the first time in my life I experienced depression… I couldn’t even relate to my husband and kids
Heartburn became part of my daily meal time experiences regardless of what I ate. It was horrible!
There was no reason for me to suspect SS though, so I just continued on my not-so-jolly way… Last week I started having these funny cold shivers at the most random times, then hot flushes which caused me to sweat like a pig, as well as dizzy spells. I decided to google SS side effects and came across complaint at hellopeter as well as this website. It was such a relief to find that I am not the only one going through this… I decided to stop taking SS immediately, and did not take a tablet today… I feel a LOT better already! I have a different take on Simply Slim – I have to hand it to them….. Excellent MONEY MAKING BUSINESS!!! I presume that Simply Slim has made their Millions and they will be making a dissapearing act very soon. I am 100% absolutely certain that my Simply Slim came from Simply Slim Head Office. Of the 5 boxes (3 and then 2 purchased respectively) I have purchased, I had two different packaging and 3 different capsules. I still have capsule samples and two of the boxes. I refuse to believe the ” there are fakes” “Dis n Komplot” etc. SS planned this from the beginning. They also have all the answers!!!!! Makes you think doesn’t it. Wel, dan is dit net sekere van die agente, want my agent het van die begin af met my oop kaarte gespeel. Ek het vir haar gevra wat SS is, hoe dit werk, enige newe effekte en hoeveel sal ek dan kan verloor. Sy het al my vra beantwoord en nog meer vertel (nie een keer stokkies om gedraai nie).
Sy het my alles vertel van SS, dat dit natuurlike is ens. Sy het my gevra om eers gou die pamflet wat binne in die boks is te lees, voor ek die produk koop. Nadat ek dit gelees het, het sy my vrae gevra oor my bloeddruk, hartprobleme ens. Sy het daarna vir my gesê dat as ek enige van daardie kwale het, sy my nie sal aanraai om die produk te koop nie. Haar rede was, dat net soos enige ander van die (Thins – wat nou weer terug is op die mark vir die hierbo) gewig verloor produk op die mark, kan dit dalk vir my hart kloppings ens gee. (Dan moet ek dalk net by las en se, dat daar ook n baie goedkoop, klein pers pilletjie op die mark is. Dit kan sommer by die apteek gekoop word vir verkoues, dit gee n mens (dit het vir my) ook hartkloppings.)
Sy het ook vir my gesê dat ek dit in gedagte sal moet hou dat mense se liggame verskil en so sal die manier waarop my liggaam reageer met die pille verskil van ander. Ander kan na 2 weke 10kg verloor waar ek dalk net 2kg sal verloor, dit vat soms tyd vir jou liggaam om homself net reg te kry.
Sy het ook vir my gewaarsku dat in die begin sal ek dalk so bietjie hoendervleis kry, voel my vel beweeg en dalk bietjie sweet, maar dat dit weg gaan. Dit is net jou sisteem wat besig is om die pille in jou liggaam te versprei. Nadat ek die pille gekoop het, voor ek loop, het sy met my mee gedeel dat ek moet probeer om soveel water as moontlik te drink (3l op die minste). Ek het gevra hoekom en sy het weer sonder om te probeer lieg vir my gesê, dat jy wat die pille gebruik baie dors sal word (so dors dat jy nie kan sluk nie). Sy het weer vir my gesê, onthou dit is baie belangrik om baie water te drink en om gereeld te eet (As nie kan jy lighoofdig raak en self-uitpaas, want jou metabolisme is vinniger en as jy nie jou liggaam voed nie is dit gewoonlik wat gebeur.)
Wat ek ook nie kan verstaan nie, as almal by die reg eet en die water drink gebly het, moet jul vel mooier raak, water is mos “cleansing”. My vel raak net mooier en het niks vlekke of kolle nie.
Ek is seker nou al amper 3 weke op SS, en als soos sy dit vir my gesê het, het gebeur. Die eerste dag het ek so bietjie hoendervleis gekry, my vel het gevoel of dit beweeg en ja, ek het gesweet. Dit was ook net vir daardie dag. Daarna het ek niks ander simptome ervaar nie. Ek bly wel dors, maar ek moet bieg soms is dit maar moeilik om water te drink waar ek is so meer en deels is dit my skuld. Die tye wat ek wel al my water en meer drink is ek nie so dors nie. Ek het in die eerste week nie baie lekker geslaap nie, en gedink dit is die pille, ek was ook gestres, moeilik, byterig, huilerig en het ook gevoel als is net teveel ( wou nie selfmoord pleeg nie (that’s really taking it to the extreme).
Dit was toe nie die pille nie, in daardie week het ek nogal redelike belangrike goed gehad wat moes afgehandel word, en ek is n perfectionist so dit moet op die beste manier gedoen word, reg – geen foute. So na daardie week, toe slaap ek so vas ek dink die rowers kon my maar weg gedra het, ek was energie vol, het self 4.30 begin opstaan om te gaan gym. Ek was vriendelik, gelukkig, grappe gemaak en wonder bo wonder, die emosionele huilerige ek was weg en niks was vir my teveel nie.
Dan om mee af te sluit – ek het nou al 10kg verloor en ek voel nie eendag sleg nie, ek is jammer as daar van julle is wat nou so paar probleme tee gekom het, hou dan op. Neem dit wel net in ag en vra jouself. Het jy die pamflet gelees? Het jy reg geëet? Het jy die regte hoeveelheid water gedrink? Het iets jou nie tog maar laat stres nie?
Ek weet gewoonlik as ek nie geëet het die oggend nie en dit is middag, dan is ek moeilik, ongeskik, lighoofdig en soms is ek so naar dat as ek eet kan ek nie eers van daardie kos kan in kry nie. Al hierdie goed moet ons ingedagte hou. Die nie slaap kan enige iets wees – stres, te laat in die aand geëet, te swaar kos deur die dag geëet ag ek kan aangaan en aangaan.
Sterkte met die wat sukses behaal het en wat nog wil aangaan (gaan raadpleeg dalk net jul dokters – net om veilig te wees) en vir die gene wat nie sukses behaal het nie, ek wens julle alle voorspoed toe met julle toekoms planne – soos die een persoon gesê het – verander dan jou eetgewoontes en eet dan net reg en gaan gym. En dan laastens – vir die wat dalk die produk wou probeer maar die doemprofete het julle te bang gepraat, raadpleeg jou dokter en hoor wat hy tese het en as daar niks fout is nie – GO FOR IT!!!!!

Just a reminder: it is no child’s choice to be abused (bad example) all complainants had a choice (or not) to use Simply Slim, they were not forced by the company to use the product! As other slimming products have side effects, it is still up to the individual to make the choice to use the product! I rest my case!

The side effects are horrific. I have been taking ss since October last year, but in December I noticed how my hair was falling out and how my eyesight was deteriorating. I battle to see now and had to go to an optometrist to have my eyes tested, because it felt as though I was going blind! I have never had to wear glasses but now I cannot see without them. The contsant headaches were driving me insane. I never put 2 and 2 together and wrote it off as stress related. But since I stopped taking ss, I have started feeling better and I notice that the hair loss has decreased. My eyes however are still extremely blurred and live in constant fear of going blind. I have no spoken to 4 people who experienced the same side effects as me and the fact that it could leave us blind is terrifying. If anybody experienced the “blindness” can they please tell me if their vision improved when they stopped taking ss.

I will contact you via email when i start as i will need you support if you don’t mind. I can’t answer you on the improvement but i can’t get my sugar level stabilized and it has been months. Don’t want to frighten you. Here in Durban we have a eye doc that uses a computer to check eyes. It reveal stuff that normal test don’t. I am not sure where you are but will find out what machine it is then you can go for a more proper test if that will help – Johan

I am in shock!!! A colleauge of mine told me this morning about two people that had been admitted to hospital due to SS. I have been on the product for about 3 months. In the begining I felt like a million bucks!!! So much energy, doing all my housework after working the whole day, getting the baby sorted and putting him to bed, going to sleep at 12 etc… Lost 15kg… BUT i have had 4 migranes in that period of time, which I had under control previously. I am always so thirsty, I could be a sluce gate for the vall river… Have almost fainted on many occasions, had chest pain blah blah blah… Today was the first I had ever heard about the side effects etc… WHY? Why is this not on Carte Blanche, THE NEWS? Krikey people it seems quite obvious that the owner is a greedy pig who is only concerned about cash in his bank account than other peoples well being!!! Comeone if the stuff was so brilliant why the hell is he overweight???? As they say drug dealers never take their own stuff cause they know what is in it…. so true!
I really think that this needs to be taken further and we need to spread the word so that other are not ripped off and fall ill to this money making scheme!!!

I know of a few people who are on Simply Slim & I heard positive remarks! This is the first time I am hearing all these stories about heart pulpitations etc. I know of someone who is on SS & has a very sensitive system & could not tolerate other products on the market & this is the only product that has actually worked for her.I think with every product on the market you will get negative remarks. How about asking all the people who had positive results to write in.
I’m in the slimming industry & from experience if you are going to take something that takes our appetite away & you don’t eat then you are going to have bad side effects. Try eating every couple of hours as one is supposed to & you will probably find yourself feeling sooo much better. I found the people who feel bad on SS are those who don’t eat much through the day.

If you are then you should know what reductil is and the know complications and side effects. work it out yourself. My wife is taking a product that contains Syniphrine . she have been on it have no side effects and it has dampened her appetite

Ek word skoon naar om net na daai boksies te kyk. Kan die medisyneraad nie die boksies verbied nie want dit bevat Sibutramine wat net deur ‘n Dr voorgeskryf mag word wat ‘n pasient deeglik ondersoek het of hy/sy nie hipertensie of ander hartkwale het nie. Is daar aan enige persoon wat al SS gekoop het al deur die agent gevra of hy enige hartkwale of hipertensie het? Ek weet dit staan op die pamflet BINNE IN DIE BOKS maar dan het jy dit al klaar gekoop! Ek voel jammer vir die agente want ek is seker hulle gaan baie geld verloor maar hulle is net so deur die hoofverspreider gevang soos ons arme mense wat gedink het ons gaan vinnig op ‘n gesonde manier gewig verloor. Die agente moet maar die geld afskryf en ophou om nog SS te verkoop want hoe kan hulle met hulle gewete saamleef as hulle weet dis “gif” wat hulle verkoop aan onskuldige mense. I have been drinking Simply Slim, which contain this bitter orange peel, for 2 weeks now, and sure I have lost 3 kg, and I was so glad about it! But I really started feeling ill. I went to the doctor, because I did not think it could be the pills, and then something else must be wrong. He gave me some Amino Acids, but told me he cannot do anything else because my pulse was too high – 97 bpm. He gave me some herbals to calm me. If your pulse stay above 80 bpm your body goes into stress. He told me to come back in a week’s time. Well, yesterday I went back, and guess what! My pulse was 109 bpm!! Then I told him that I am using Simply Slim. He ordered me to stop using it immediately, as it can lead to a heart attack letting your heart race like that 24/7. Well, I stopped using it from this morning, and already I am less tense. Be careful! This stuff is dangerous. It is not worth it!

Dear Johan, thank you for your page. My slightly overweight(in her eyes) daughter began ss 3 days ago. The side effects she experienced last night were horrendous and a call to the emergency rooms thought necessary. She had severe heart palpitations, anxiety and a very bad headache. The nurse spoke to her and told her what to do and she then found your page. She was in such a state of anxiety and just being able to read that someone else had experienced her symptoms helped put things into perspective. Thank you Johan. I started using Simply Slim last year November and up till now I have had no side effects! I am 38 years old and have never felt better! What about all the other slimming (thinz,nobeze,duromine,etc)products on the shelves that everyone has tried (and don’t lie, I worked in a pharmacy) that has not worked for you either, side effects and all? If Simply Slim does not work, nothing will!!! I have lost 5kg in a matter of 4 weeks and continued using Simply Slim during the festive season, still maintaining my weight! No cravings, headaches, heartpalpitations, bloodpressure escalating, etc! I am fitting into my size 32 pants again before my 4 year old son was born!!! What an amazing product!!! Eat properly and healthy, drink your 3 litres of water, you do not have to die of hunger! Eating healthy is a way of life!
I will continue using Simply Slim! I am sure the pharmacies are worried as far as their slimming products is concerned, but at least Simply Slim does not contain ephidrine.

I have to agree with all your comments. I started taking ss in November 2009, I lost 3 kg in my first week, but had terrible insomnia and extremely bad headaches, anyway I carried on, I lost another 2 kg the next week, but still had insomnia, I did not loose any more weight, but lost inches. Then I read you must have a break after 6 weeks, which I duly did. After going back on, I had all the same symptoms plus more, I am now having heart palpatations, difficulty breathing, dizziness, numbness in my arms and fingers, irritability, you just about name it, I have it. That is why I googled side efects of ss, thank you for answering my suspicions, today was my LAST. I will throw the rest away. I do not wish these symptoms on my worst enemy.

i dont normally fall for such gimicks, but a friend called me up to tell me about it and mentioned the great energy boost it gave her and the fact that she lost 5 kgs in a week. sounded perfect to loose the few kilos id picked up over christmas.
the ladies in the shop where i bought that poison all guaranteed me there were no side effects- all 6 of them had been taking it and LOVED it. (im now think that was said as the boss was standing to the side)
i took the tablets for 3 days. yesterday morning i felt ill from what i thought was lack of sleep (woke up at 2am and couldnt even nap until 7am. id been extremely anxious the whole night- i convinced myself id caught gastro from my boyfriend and that i would be missing the opening days of my MBA degree.
I am just so greatful to God that i never took the tablet yesterday morning and that i only had 3 tablets. the side effects that i experienced yesterday were beyond dreadful. my headaches were off the wall painful, i was nauseas, anxious, i had a fever, i was irritable, miserable, weepy, tired,extremely dizzy and my sense of depth was off, and i had ZERO energy.
at this point i never thought it was the tablets. i thought it was me catching my boyfriends bug. the headache however made me phone simply slim to ask them if its a normal side effect- as a headache sufferer i wanted to know if i should rather not take the tablets. their reply to me was to ask how many days id been taking the tablet. i told them i had 3 tablets. the agent giggled and said “ma’am thats what happens on day 3 you will be fine carry on taking the tablets”
i carried on through the day still thinking it was gastro.
then last night i started having very very bad anxiety. i thought i was going to die. my arms were heavy, my heart was racing and i was completely irrational. i was exhauseted but was scared to fall asleep as i thought i wouldnt wake up. i realise now this is all the tablets fault.
i am so greatful that i decided to google simply slim side effects. that it when i realised it was not me that was going crazy- it was the tablets making me crazy. i had no doubt at that point that i would not be taking the tablets this morning and that this a VERY DANGEROUS product.
my anxiety was still off the wall, i managed to fall asleep but woke up 2 hours later, wide awake but exhausted and still very anxious.
i phoned the emergency room, explanined what had happened as i wanted to know if i needed to come in and if i could take a pax5 to help with anxiety-( meds which were prescribed to me after a car accident,) and he said they would be safe to use. i was so paranoid that i thought the 2 tablets would mix and kill me.
and so i phoned another hospital and the kind sister spoke me through my anxiety and tears at 2 am. incidentally the pax 5 worked a charm.
if it were not for this website i would not know that these side effects were caused by simply slim. thank you so much for sharing your story. you saved me from continuing to posion my body.
by the way, about 9 years ago i was on a 6 month course of roaccutane for my skin. everyone knows the dangerous side effects of this tablet. before i started roacutane, i went for extensive blood tests, and had to carry on with monthly check ups to make sure my body was coping. those side effects were the most painful of my life-up until slimply slim!
any one considering taking these tablets- they are not worth it.
to the people who it is working for- please dont judge and mock us that it didnt work for. it is a dangerous drug. you might not be experiencing the side effects, but a very percentage of us are, and simply slim is not being honest and investigating the side effects properly. which does leave one to wonder about their so called ethics.
i am feeling better today- yesterday i couldnt even type a paragraph (i left a comment somewhere on the page as all i wanted to know was how long i would feel like this. im sure if you find my comment you will see my state of mind last night)

Gebruik SS vandag 16 dae, dit was ook die laaste dag, die brosjure sê geen NADELIGE newe effekte. Ek wonder maar net wat as nadelig beskou word. Ek was vandag by my dokter ek is duiselig, het hoë bloedruk, hoofpyne, harkloppings, angs, jeukende vel, hoendervleise, en my sig is aangetas (hopenlik net tydelik) depressie, en al die emosionele gemors wat met al hierdie simptome saamgaan. Voor SS was ek mollig en relatief gesond nou voel ek afskuwelik. My dokter sê dit is moontlik dat dit SS is.

No clown I am not an agent just someone who had a very good experience thus far. If it is really that bad and illegal they would take it of the market. Until then enjoy your pathetic war! You see yu cannot accept the fact that some people might have good experiences with SIMPLY SLIM. Stop dictating to people and leave them to make p their own mind. Ek het ‘n vermoede dat een van die dae bevestig gaan word dat Simply Slim & 4S gecopy is van die Chinese produk en dat almal finansieel ingedoen is…. Ek meen hoe kan dit wees dat hierdie twee produkte presies dieselfde lyk en funksioneer? As dit nadelig is vir mens laat dit uitkom en as mens dit kan aankoop teen R29 openbaar dit. Hulle koop dit aan vir R29 en verkoop dit teen R590? Ek sien uit om agter die kap van die byl te kom. 4S begin net so erg te adverteur soos simply slim. Een van die dae moet albei antwoorde gee waar hulle dit kry!

I have been using simply slim for 6 weeks, the only side effects I experienced was dry mouth to remind me to drink more water, slight dizziness but that’s all. First 3 nights I battled to sleep but after that I slept like a baby! I drank lots of water and ATE ACCORDINGLY – 3 MEALS A DAY. I only felt dizzy when I did not eat a meal, after eating I felt fine. I first lost centimeters and dropped 3 sizes!!!! I then lost 10 kilo’s!!! I stopped using ss after obtaining my goal and have maintained myself ever since. To me ss was a wonderful experience and worth my money because I got results!

I think that as long as you take the responsibility for what you put in your mouth you can’t blame anyone for using this product. In the end its still youre desition to buy SS and use it. No one forces anyone to take Simply Slim.
I asked my dokters advise before I started using this product and he didn’t have any problems with the product.

Yes i agree with you that you can’t blame the product if you put it in your mouth – that is now if the company simply slim and the developer didn’t lie to you about the truth but if they had lied and supplied me with a product they claim 100% but contain a chemical substance then that is a criminal offense
I have been on simply slim for about 20 days and I have to say the results show! Fantastic product, no side effects, no problems. BUT I READ THE PAMFLET PEOPLE!!! Just because it doesn’t work for everyone doesn’t mean it is bad!!! It works for me leave it alone. I am pro Simply Slim!! I will be using it until I am where I want to be. I am aware of the “SIDE EFFECTS” and until I see any of them materializing I will not bad mouth the product. You are really going overboard. Get some help your war with simply slim is turning into an obsession. That is more dangerous than any diet tablet. I think it didn’t work for you and it cost you a bit of money ‘ nou is jou gat suur’. From a very happy user. Ha Ha!
@Monique sound like an agent to me – a bit of warning as simply slim have just been tested for sibutramien and found to contain a large amount which means if you selling or using it you are selling drugs that can get you some jail time
I used SS for 4 months and was impressed with it in the beginning as I did loose weight (appart from having the usual side effects like insomnia, dizzy, heart palpations ect).
Then I started getting nose bleeds all of a sudden with severe head aches. I also want to state that I never had any health issues. One day at the office I was not feeling to good and decided to have my blood pressure checked. It was 164/96 and my heart was racing. My doctor was concerned and all types of tests were done. After I told her that I was usning SS she said that I should stop immediatly. I can’t believe how much better I am feeling now. No nosebleeds or headaches like I use to get. Yes, I did gain all the weight back that I lost to begin with (7 kg) but decided to join a gym and get rid of my 10kg’s in a healthy way. I will never poison myself like this ever again. It is not safe

Ek was vir ‘n maand op Simply Slim en het my nog nie geweeg nie, maar ek het wel van die simptome ervaar. Wat my nou eintlik aan die wonder het is, my vriendin het gister by ‘n apteek 4S (4EVER)dieet pille gaan koop, dit word nou baie geadverteer en kos R490 waar Simply slim jou R590 kos. Tot my skok is die verpakking identies dit is net die kleur wat verskil en die prentjie… Die inhoud is presies dieselfde!! Wat gaan aan wie copy wie? Waar kom dit vandaan?

Ek gebruik SS nou al vir 24 dae en voel aaklig! Ek kan nie saans slaap nie, is doodmoeg gedurende die dag, kry hartkloppings en as ek net ‘n klein entjie loop, is ek so uitasem dat ek moet gaan sit. Hierdie simptome is baie ongewoon vir my aangesien ek ‘n aktiewe lewensstyl het en nogal fiks is. Ek het wel die 3kg afgeskud wat ek wou verloor, maar dit gaan veel help as ek maer is en dan ‘n hartaanval kry! Ek wil nie ‘n maer lyk wees nie!! Ek het gedink ek moet die laaste 6 pilletjies maar klaarmaak – het ‘n arm en ‘n been gekos, maar na dese weet ek nie meer so mooi nie! Die simptome raak net erger!
ek het simply slim op 20okt 2009 begin gebruik. het tot nou toe 12kg verloor en het dit nou al 2 weke laas gedrink.
ek het geen newe effekte gehad nie, dankie tog daarvoor, maar ek voel dat ek op my eie die ander 10 kan afskud. ek het in die 2 weke wat ek nie meer die pille gebruik nie, nog 2 kg afgeskud. gebruik daagliks die vibro belt, eet kleiner porsies en drink 2 liter water ‘n dag.

I could’nt breathe, had heart palpitations and felt like a zombie. I took SS for 6 days and it took me about 2 weeks to recover from it. It is rubbish and a waste of money.
Ek het in Oktober SS begin drink en het 5 kg verloor in daardie maand. Ek het in November weer ‘n pakkie gekoop (nie juis asof ek dit kon bekostig nie want dit is ongelooflik duur!!!!)en het die eerste week toe ek dit begin drink baie snaaks begin voel. Dit het gevoel asof my lugpyp toegedruk word en ek kon nie behoorlik sluk nie. Ek het borspyne gekry en was in ‘n humeurige bui, wat glad nie my geaartheid is nie. Daarna het ek baie uitasem geraak en kon glad nie in die aande slaap nie. Al het almal dieselfde newe-effekte moet dit mos iets van die produk se, want volgens die advertensie is jy energiek, dis natuurlik en jy voel wonderlik – wat ek verseker nie gevoel het nie!! Inteendeel het al hul goeie beskrywings die teenoorgestelde uitwerking op my gehad. My vriendin het my aanbeveel om dit te los nadat sy van ‘n werkskollega gehoor het wat a.g.v. SS in die hospitaal opgeneem is vir hartprobleme. Nee mense hoe kan julle sulke vals advertensies loots en ryk word deur ander se gesondheid op die spel te sit. Baie mense wat ek van weet het nie geld daarvoor nie maar was desperaat om die wondermiddel te probeer en hul hard verdiende geld daarop spandeer. Skaam julle!!! Die les wat ek hieruit geleer het is dat daar glad nie so iets is soos ‘n wonder middel nie, die natuurlike manier om gewig te verloor is reg eet en oefeninge doen!!!
There was an article in the Beeld this weekend about simply slim. The stuff is poison. They say its all natural but so are a lot of drugs. Like cocaine for example. I took it for three weeks in December. I thought my sudden irritability, temper and tears were all related to christmas blues but it wasnt, it was simply slim sccrewing up my serotonin levels. I have never in my life been as depressed and as upset as i was during that time. They say you should not take simply slim if you are on certain anti depressants, but the more accurate warning is that you should never take it if you have EVER suffered from depression or have it in your family. The people who market this rubbish as 100% natural and healthy are irresponsible and should be locked up. A friend of mine is still struggling with the side effects 2 weeks after stopping it. I was lucky, five days ater i stopped taking the tablets, i finally stopped thinking about chewing my wrists off. Stay away from this sh*t!
Wow Johan, not only are you angry and bitter with Simply Slim, you seem to be very aggressive and bitter towards those that don’t support your views 100% or add a snide remark if they have lost weight. Besides the fact that Mr Venter might have lied to you – are you perfect in every way? If you have a little blog should you not be able to be impartial to those who might still want to take SS – instead tell people what you have learnt of SS instead of being a bitter person about it.

Hi, I don’t use SS was interested but decided not to. The only thing that I picked up reading the site after seeing the article in the Beeld is that Johan u are rude! You fly into anyone that has had results about being an agent. When people tell how they feel I really do not see a SS Agent getting into their character but you do is there something you are hidding. I am not taking you on or anything but I have learnt from the best that when you fight back like you do who is the one that has something to gain. Keep it clean as there are people who is feeling like crap and there are people who are happy. But this kind of verbal abuse when someone is happy make a person think.

what all of you have so amazingly forgotten is that you’re supposed to FEEL LIKE CRAP WHEN YOU’RE ON A DIEET – with or without any help!!!!
You will be sick if you need to get rid of all the junk inside of you! How many years of piled up fat is stuck inside of you! Simply slim is a quick fix but one that helped me get myself in order, realize what i need to do and definitely gave me my self confidence back!

I USED Simply Slim for 5 weeks NON STOP with all the crap it sent my way – i went from a very TIGHT size 40 to a 36!!!!!! I’m in no hurry to get my size 34 but it’s in my reach!!!!
I didn’t once get on a scale!!! No body sees your weight …. it is your size that gives you away! People don’t see you’re heavy … they see you are fat!!!!
I also had the :
- dry mouth … which made me drink more water
- bad breath … drinking double dose water and eating sushi ginger helped!
- the lack of concentration …. which made me more attentive to what i was doing!
- insomnia … which taught me more self discipline! Just go to bed when the hour says so, read a book!!!!!!!
- tiredness, i would fall asleep in mid conversation … which is a side effect from any dieet!
- energy minutes …… i rushed those minutes in everything i did as to doing cardio!
- i was depressed like HELL – who would not be if they had to stop eating what they like!
- my heart started pounding as if outside my chest …. because i was a lazy bastard for all those years!!!
If you are really sick because of this tablet – don’t take it please BUT if you’re complaining because you are just too useless to turn yourself into a better person …. then just shut up and stop complaining!!!!!!
I stopped using SS because i’m where i wanna be – in a routine! That’s what simply did for me!!!! In all honesty i would say it didn’t make be loose weight but rather made me change so i could loose!
NO PAIN – NO GAIN! Don’t complain if you don’t have the balls to wanna loose weight!

Ek gebruik simply slim al vir 6weke, ek het gewig verloor, maar het ook probleme ervaarm. My hele lyf juk, ek is hardlywig, candidan, voel naar met tye, my hele lyf is vol blou kolle en het nou a ulcer in my mond. Daar is geen twyfel daarin nie, die produk werk, dis net jammer vir die newe effekte.
Ek het van simply slim verlede jaar op ons plaaslike radiostasie gehoor toe Maruis dit begin bemark het, dadelik opgewonde geraak omdat ek nie nodig sou hê om te moet oefen nie, as gevolg van my rug en heup probleem. Marius se personeel by die kantoor waar ek navra gedoen het oor die produk kon glad nie vir my die nodige inligting gee nie, en ek kon glad nie hom in die hande kry nie (ek het toe agtergekom dat dit eintlik sy ouers was wat die kantoor op daardie staduim beman het) Ek wou uitvind dat as ‘n persoon op medikasie is vir: spastiese kolon, onderaktiewe skildklier en anti inflamatoriese middels is, die produk kan gebruik. Ek het geen antwoord op my vrae gekry nie (altans tot vandag toe nog)
Ek het toe tog die produk gaan aankoop uit oortuiging van die pratjies op die Radio en gevra dat Marius my tog maar sou skakel, wag nou nog. Ek het die produk maar begin gebruik, en binne die eerste 3 dae het my maag gaan stilstaan ek het 2kg opgetel en glad nie gesond gevoel nie. Ek is ‘n persoon wat glad nie soetigheid, meel produkte soos brood, poedings ens. eet nie, ek eet vandat ek myself ken nie eers vet nie, en drink +/- 2 liter water per dag, maar sukkel met my gewig. Ek het ‘n e-pos aan Maruis gestuur en die antwoord daar op(jippie!! uiteindelik iets van hom) was dat ek een van omtrent 3 persone is met hierdie simptome en dat hulle besig is om ‘n produk te ontwikkel wat hoodia bevat vir mense met dikderm probleme en dat ek die produk wat ek gekoop het moet terug bring en wanneer die nuwe produk beskikbaar is hul dit gratis aan my sou verskaf.
Ek het die pille aan iemand anders gegee want was nie lus vir al die “nonsens” nie. Die agent wat vir my dogter die produk verskaf het, het aan my gesê dat sy my probleem sou opvolg, tot vandag nog geen antwoord van niemand.
Dit lyk vir my dat hul net die produk verkoop probeer verkoop wil kry en dan die skans van minder bevooregte mense iets uit hul winste gee om ons sag te maak! Ek erken elke persoon verskil maar as jy so ‘n produk wil bemark kyk na die kliënt se probleem ook! Sê maar net!
Hi.Johan. Hou nie van jou Negatiwiteit nie. Ek dink dis net suur druiwe van jou kant af. Mense se liggame verskil en baie van hierdie simptome is van detox oor al die “Crap” wat jy voorheen in jou liggaam ingeploeg het. Ek weet van seker 15 mense wat dit saam met my gebruik. Jammer dit werk nie vir julle nie, maar vir ons wel. Ek het ‘n hele 5.2 kg in 12 dae verloor, met baie min effort en byna geen simptome. Die droe mond en warm gloede aan die begin is normaal. Gun ons vetties iets wat werk,want die produk is baie goed. Ek sal omverskoning vra as ek later simptome ontwikkel , maar uit ons familie en vriende kring is daar net positiewe resultate en ons almal voel goed.

I suffered severe Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolisms (blood clots) on 8 Jan 2010.
I have been using SS for about 4 months now.
I stopped taking the tablets since and have been put on Warfarin.
Could someone please advise whether SS could have been the caue of my clotting??
Pathology tests were done whilst I was hospitalised last week, to eliminate any Genetic blood disorders… none were found.
I see that Bitter Orange (Bigarade Orange or Neroli) has an effect on your arteries and cardiovascular system…
Please help with more info?

Ek is 37 jaar oud en weeg 90 kg. Ek het na my 10de dag op Simply Slim begin humerig, rusteloos en baie trugetrokke begin voel. Dit het soos n’ iritasie in my neus gevoel, soos stof, en toe gaan dit na my voorkop toe. ek het gedink dis hooikoors, maar die regter kant van my wang het begin dood voel. Toe begin my regter hand se palm mors dood gaan, so alof n’ mens daai pins en neadels kry. The people that say they have no side effects from taking this product either have a very easy job or none. The wife and I tried it for a week and I failed to concentrate at work. I lost my desire to go to Gym. I felt like being on drugs and tried to avoid people. I know of a few people who have tried it and all of them had side effects. Get you lazy asses of the couch and go to the gym or jog if you want to lose weight.
Deffinately have the breathing problems. Thought it was just me!! feels that I am not getting enough air. It helps sometime if I “yorn” deeply and “force” extra air into mu lungs. Experienced sleeplessnes. But no other effect at all. Not even dryness of mouth. Have been using SS for 2 weeks now. Effects include dry mouth & a little bit of insomnia. Dry mouth I was warned against & even though I don’t nearly drink all the water they said I should, it is not too bad. For the insomnia – it actually helps as we have a little baby at home – much easier to get up!
I don’t feel tired or run down at all. Some heart burn every now and again. Started exercising this week and REALLY tire out quickly! Could be from SS or I am just seriously out of shape. I have been using Sure Slim for 6 weeks and I have lost 8 Kg’s – I have not really experienced any bad side effects – I do eat less and try and drink lots of water – I do have energy and find that I don’t have sleep – I can stay awake all night – but I do go to bed and fall asleep with no problem – I have had a few fast heartbeats but nothing that has worried me too much. I used SS for 3 months, non stop, lost 20kg. Now 4 months later i can eat what i want and didn’t gain anything. I think people must consult their doctor before using, maybe the product just don’t accommodate with certain medicine or with their bodies. I didn’t have any side effects, just a small headache the first 4 days, but that was because my body detoxed. I didn’t use any other medication with SS, followed a healthy eating plan, didn’t drink any alcohol and a minimum of 3L of water per day.
I think the biggest mistake people make is to drink SS and still carry on with a unhealthy lifestyle, this can lead to your body detoxing the whole time, which i don’t think can be healthy. Very import is to still eat although you don’t feel like it, stop eating will make your body weak.

Used this product for 2 months. Lost 5.5kg. I drank 3l of water a day and ate small regular meals but still had the following side effects: Irritability (PMS 24/7/365), dizziness, nervousness (which includes biting the inside of my cheeks and lips), lack of concentration, insomnia, nausea, constipation, haemorrhoids, bad skin (something I have never had before), goose bumps, bad sinus headaches, sore joints (arthritis like symptoms) – including my right knee that is now so bad that I have to see a physiotherapist and use anti-inflammatories daily, light menstrual period followed by another period within 12 days.
I stopped using the product on Monday after someone at my hairdresser warned me that it gave her joint pains and I only made the connection to all the other symptoms now when I read you website. Tha very first day i took simply slim, I experienced heart palpatations, dizziness, jitters and ADD.I felt truly awfull all day but at the same time, I thought WOW! No wonder the product claims to have qaurenteed weight loss! It must be super strong! And I normally dont get a reaction to stimulants of any kind! Bargain! I cant wait to carry on and see the results!
Apart from a very small weight loss right at the beginning, which has subsequently( 3 weeks later) re-appeared, I can definitely attest to all the side effects! Lack of energy, exeptionally dry mouth( which granted had been mentioned), insomnia( and I was taking SS at 05:30am every day), lack of concentration ( I felt plain old stupid), and weepy as hell!
I kept thinking, it must be me doing something wrong! I was still hungry almost all the time, but still managed to behave, excercised as much as possible or until I felt like my heart was going to burst out my chest! And the promised results have been negligible!

I have been using Simply Slim for 6 weeks, lost 17.7Kg (from 110.3kg to 92.7kg) I am 1.85m tall and 23 years old, I used SS everyday of the 6 weeks,
I will buy a 3rd box to use maybe every 3 or 4 days, just to keep the weight down, I exercise 3 times a week, not lay on a couch and complain about something that’s not working (because the add said i can eat a Bucket of KFC every day and still lose weight) if you eat 7000 kcal a day and you don’t change that and use simply slim, USN and Heroine it won’t help.

We all would like a ‘magic’ pill to help us lose the extra weight. SS sounded like the perfect solution to me – “no exercise, no special diets, appetite suppressant, quickens metabolism, all natural” These were some of the things I was told at the salon where I bought my first package of SS.
I was totally hooked – line and sinker. I took SS for a couple of weeks and experienced a dry mouth, some insomnia but I loved the fact that I was not hungry AND I was losing weight. I finished the course and waited about 2 weeks before starting the next box.
Thats when I started feeling really bad. On top of the dry mouth, insomnia I was constipated, couldn’t focus on anything for any length of time, had terrible headaches and my heart raced even when I was just sitting or lying on the bed. I also experienced a weird ‘goosebump, hair raising’ feeling everytime I sneezed or coughed.
I happened to see my GP for something totally different and when my BP was taken he was shocked. My BP has always been normal to low but now my BP was VERY high he said. He took it again 15 minutes later and it was still the same.
I stopped taking SS and all my symptoms have gone. No more pulpitations and head aches and I sleep like a baby. (I can now sneeze without getting goosebumps too.)

Ive been using SS for 8 days. On Sunday I experienced an extreme tightness in my chest. I found it difficult to breath and my left arm was completely numb. I thought i was going to die. What a surprise to also discover that one shouldnt be using SS while on thyroid medication. (Thanx Angeline for your comment.)When i asked the agent about this he assured me that it is safe to use. I considered using only 3 tablets per week but after reading your comments yesterday i chucked the box in the bin. Wont be using it again.
I have started with SS on 18 November 2009 and have lost 8.5 kg within the first month. I have experienced an increase level of energy and a sense of feeling good. Ihave stopped using it for 5 days and were happy with the fact that I have adjusted to eating lesser portions than before 18 Nov 2009. I can only recommend this product, however – as with any other medication please read the notes inside the box with regards to the side effects (we are adults. They DO ADVISE people suffering with heart problems etc to discuss the product with your General Practitioner before making use of same. I can only recommend this product. The agent told me to use it for 6 weeks then lay off for 2 weeks (as the body adjust in the first 4 weeks and then the effect is less)and then to start using SS again. I do so recently – and yes its wonderful! I have lost a total of 10 kg as from 18 Nov to 4 Jan 2010. Note: No one is forced to use it – each to his own. If you not happy with the product – get off it – amazing how humans complain when something is not working for them, however if it is good – the comments seems to be lesser.

If you not happy with the product – get off it” is out of line as simply slim is lying to there customers. i was told by simply slim there is no side effects – well that is bullshit – if i want to buy something from you that you selling and ask you if it will effect this or that and you say NO – and it does effect me then you are a lyer and i have the right to complain. especially when you paid R590 for a product.

Lekker gelag en gelees aan al die kommentare op SS!! Ek het ook gedurende Julie 2009 na 20 dae se gebruik dit gestaak omdat ek soortgelyke simptome ervaar het en SS ook erge kolon probleme veroorsaak het. Ek ken ‘n hele paar gebruikers wat ook met die slap riem gevang is van “eet wat jy wil en jy hoef nie te oefen nie”.
Van die “sukses verhale” wat SS voorhou is beslis nie net toe te skryf aan die produk nie – maar deur leefstyl verandering en dieet aanpassings wat gemaak is.
Hoop maar net die pennie het geval en dat voornemende gebruikers meer ingelig sal wees in hul besluitneming om SS te koop.

Simply Slim is eenvoudig die dood in ‘n kapsule. In die begin word jy so siek dat dit voel asof jy gif in het. Dit is nie Detoks simptome nie.
Ongemaklike gevoel in die buik en veral Kolon, dehidrasie al drink jy water, spierpyn, bloukolle, nierpyn, blaasinfeksie, bevorder kandida, faringitis, streptokokkeseerkeel, pyn in bene in die hele liggaam.
Dit ooreis die niere met te veel water drink en urineer. Asook die bloeddruk wat verhoog. Nie eers gepraat van hart nie. Die enigste manier om gewig te verloor is die lang manier wat tog op die ou einde net solank neem soos die kapsules, maar dan bou jy spiermassa, beenmassa en kry energie “for life”. Wat is beter as om gesond te leef op die lang manier en dit is lewenslank. Sterkte!
My daughter and I also took SS to try and lose abour 4kgs, but after 6 days I had dizzy spells, contstipationfelt very anxious, and insomnia and did not feel myself at all and have stopped taking it. She also had insomnia and developed a bad rash under her arm and after stopping SS her rash disappeared within a week. Surely this should be taken off the market and further tests be run as most people seem to be experiencing the same symptoms! It costs R590 and I’ve only taken 6 days of tablets, my daughter 2 wks and as far as I’m concerned this is a con and money making racket.

Ek het simply slim begin gebruik 3 maande terug. twee maande terug het ek hartkloppings gekry en sleg gevoel, ek is dr toe en my bloeddruk was 180/110. Die dr was baie bekommerd en moes n EKG doen en bloede trek, wat my alles later saam met bloeddruk pille ens net so oor die R2000 gekos het. Ek is nou so twee weke van die pille af en het op die usn fat loss gegaan en het in twee weke 5.2 kg al verloor, waar ek met 3 maande op simply slim nie eers 3kg verloor het nie.
So ek sal ook se, die pille is defenetief nie natural nie en is GEVAARLIK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi ek is nou 7 dae op SS en het 2 kilos en definitief cms verloor maar ek het ook begin knoppe uitslaan oor my lyf en nou is dit nogal baie in my gesig en nek en onder die hare.. ek het geen vel probleem nog ooit gehad nie..dit lyk glad nie soos aknee vel nie.. Dis net die groot knoppe onder die vel wat rooi word en dan buite op die vel droog word.. my vel juk vreeslik veral in my gesig.. voel of iets kriewel en loop..
Ek raak ook duiselig maar weet dat ek so min eet dat dis die rede kan wees.. ek kan regtig nie so baie water drink soos hul se nie.. ek drink omtrent so 2l per dag..

Ek is so onseker..Wat moet ek doen?
Het gedog dat ek ‘n paar haastande gekry het vir kersfees. Het gedurig my onderlip raak gebyt. Naderhand moedeloos gewees. Ek is op SS vanaf November 2009, het die eerste week sommer 4Kg verloor en dit was dit. Maak nie saak hoe ek gedieet het nie ek het botstil gestaan. Ek het baie baie moeg geraak en vir die eerste keer het my hormoon inplanting gereject nie net een keer nie maar 2. Ek het na die artikel van Beeld besluit om dit summier te los. Ek dink dat dit nog ‘n baie groot rol speel aan my “alien abudctions: (weet partykeer nie wat het met my gebeur nie!!! memory gone voel of ek nie hier was nie). Ek moet se dat ek nie hartkloppings gekry het nie maar gereeld sommer diaree en ek was konstant baie baie moeg. Ek het ‘n sterk maag en kry miskien 1 keer per jaar so iets die laaste ruk was ek al 3keer van die werk afwesig. Baie dinge maak nou sin.

Thanks for pointing out the perils of using SS. I was about to go out and buy a supply for myself as I have heard of success cases. I am however not prepared to be one of those who suffer the awful side affects. Instead, I am going to start off my new year by just cutting out all those things we know we should not be eating and start exercising. Are there any 40 to 55 year olds, who need to lose 10 to 20kgs who want to join me at the Menlyn Virgin Active Gym? I need some buddies to keep me motivated.

Ek het sowat 3 mnde gelede SS begin gebruik. Ek het sowat 2Kg gewig en ‘n paar sentimeters verloor. Ewe skielik begin my hare sulke boste uitval en my kopvel asook my hele lyf jeuk. My kopvel jeuk soms so erg dat ek dit amper stukkend krap. Verder kry ek koorsblare (iets wat ek nooit kry nie). Kan dit dalk die gebruik van SS wees? Ek ondervind ook by tye angs en bewerigheid.

I was so exited to try out this wonderfull product called Simply Slim, I lost 7kg in the first 10 days WHOW that was great I drank 3-4liters of water per day my appitite was still the same but, the side effects was just to much – anxiety, agression, heart pulpetations, my hair and nails stop growing, high blood pressure, sleeplessness, crying spells, AND now I gained all those lost kilo’s and more back. My hair is still falling out and I have stopped using this DRUG for 7weeks but still have side effects. If you are thinking of using this product please consult your docter first because I personally think that this product is the biggest sort of poison for a human body and it is not worth taking the risk or loosing your life for a few kilo’s
For the first time in my life (I am 53 years old) I decided to use a diet pill (Simply Slim) because a friend told me that it is all “natural, safe and made from herbs”. I wanted to loose about 6 kg and started with SS on 18 November 2009 (the first week I felt wonderful) and lost 4 kg within 4 weeks, which I thought was a miracle. However, I stopped SS on 18 December 2009 after experiencing most of the side-effects since week 2 and by week 4 was feeling absolutely terrible. The side-effects I could not handle was heart palpitations, increased pulse rate, fatigue and dizziness. (I only recognized it as side-effects after I googled “Simply Slim side-effects” and the ingredients’ side-effects). Even now, after 11 days off SS, I still experience a fast pulse rate, even up to 147 p.m. after bathing my dogs and 120 pm after a bit of walking around in the garden and pulling out weeds (only for a few minutes).
Can anyone please tell me how long it is going to take to get this “DRUGS” out of my system – before I will feel better again?
If I can give people, who are interested in using SS, advice: “Please do not use Simply Slim (or any other weight loss pills), it is just not worth it! Yes, in most instances people do loose weight, but what do they have to sacrifice for the weight loss? Their health!” I hope that SS will soon be taken off the market – there are just too many people complaining about SS for it to be safe.
Please read Antoinette Pienaar’s article in Beeld of 29 December 2009 “Om Simply Slim te kan wees”. It is an eye opener and I would never have used SS if I could have read this article beforehand!

Ek gebruik SS nou vir 26 dae. Vir die eerste keer in 3 jaar het ek wraggies begin gewig verloor – 4kg en ek voel soos ‘n nuwe mens, maar ek dink ek moet maar na die einde van die pakkie stop, want na die eerste week, het ek hierdie “band” om my lugpyp. I would just like to add Johan. This Marius said during an interview with radio Ripple that the product contains “peanuts” (LOL) and that this was the only side effect – people who were allergic to nuts!!!! I have the CD of this interview, if you’re interested.

I’m one of the lucky ones I guess. I used Simply Slim for 4 months… lost 15 kg, and a month later I am still on the same weight and feeling GREAT!
I do not know the Developer personally and I’m not trying to sell the product to anyone. I am simply stating my story.
I had an extremely dry mouth for the first 3 weeks, but this was excellent because I actually drank 3 liters of water a day for the first time ever! Before I sometimes drank maybe 1 glass a day.
I drank it early in die morning before work (approx 4H30 AM) and I think this made a big difference, if you drink it earlier it basically works out by the time you go to bed (well that is what it felt like)
The product helped me to eat smaller portions (it didn’t take away my appetite completely, I still felt hungry but felt full sooner if I ate.
I wasn’t on any special diet, I excercised from the second month I was on Simply Slim, after losing my first 5kg I felt great and excercised more regularly (about 3 times a week) I think this really helps as well… to get the metabolism going.
Overall I had a very good experience and Simply Slim really worked for me. Most of the time I forgot I took the capsule and just went on with my daily life at work and at home.
I am sorry about all the people who had these horrible side effects. I think from reading these you should be objective and observant from day one: Look for side effects from day one if you truly do feel horrible rather leave the pills. Also get assurance from your doctor before using the pills in conjuction with any other medication.
I think Simply Slim (like any other weight loss product)will work for some and simply not work for others. As I said, maybe I am just lucky.
Glad this worked for you and trust this is a honest review – with all the lies from simply slim and even the developer Maruis Venter directly to me and the lies about the side effects as you can see this company should be bring to book as this as far as i am concerned is not a herbal product but a drug. You did mention that you took the tablet early so that the effects will work out before you go to sleep? (Just wondering what those effects is)
PS – As far as i am concerned if you change your lifestyle and excersize you will loose 15kg in the same time as you for R0
Took SS for 3 days and felt awful. Was so depressed and had severe mood swings, my poor husband really suffered from my use of SS!
Could not sleep at night, whilst at the same time, feeling dead tired in the early evenings. Had severe heart palpitations, and had a strange, dry feeling in my throat. Got so absent minded that, whilst teaching a group of students, I forgot what I was saying, right in the middle of a sentence!
I have not used it for 3 days now, and still get the above mentioned symptoms at times. Would really not recommend it!
Ek het Simply Slim vir 3 dae gebruik, waarna ek ‘n skielike “boonste lugweg infeksie” gekry het. My oor het gepyn en my tong was geswel en seer. Na ongeveer 10 dae wat ek die voorskrif medikasie gebruik het en geensins Simply Slim nie, het ek beter gevoel en weer Simply Slim begin gebruik. Ek het hierdie keer uitgehou vir 7 dae. Weereens was my tong opgeswel en seer. My man het my beveel om dit dadelik op te hou gebruik want hy het gedink dit dehidreer my. Wat ek nie kon glo nie, aangesien ek ‘n minimum van 4 liter water ‘n dag gedrink het. Al het dit bietjie gehelp aangesien ek nie veel honger geword het nie, het ek nie eers 0.5 kg verloor nie. ‘n Vriendin van my wat dit ook gebruik het, het vreeslike hartkloppings gekry. Ek dink Simply Slim is gevaarlik en die verspreiding en beskikbaarheid moet gestop word! Dit is nonsens dat mense so uitgebuit word deur leuens, wat hulle gesondheid negatief kan beïnvloed.

Ekt n paar jaar terug thinz gedrink en baie maer geword want mens wil glad nie eet op dit nie – my hare bet dunner geword en ek was na dokters toe wat almal gese het dis ‘hormonal’ of ‘genetic’ soveel so dat ek elke maand baie geld moes spandeer op haarprodukte soos minoxidil en ek moes die pil (yasmin) drink as n ‘anti’androgen.
vanaf laasjaar kan mens nie meer thinz koop nie, ek ek het defnitief vetter geword weer – maar snaaks genoeg het ek die pil opgehou gebruik en lui geraak met my haar produkte maar my hare het steeds baie goed gelyk.
Ekt n maand gelede simply slim gekoop en gedink dit werk fantasties want dit werk presies soos thinz en ek verloor vir die eerste keer in n jaar weer gewig – sommer 3kg in een week – twee weke later – kom ek agter my hare lyk nie vir my lekker nie, en ek sweer elke dag val my hare meer en meer uit. ekt eers gedink dis die ‘hormonal flux’ na die pil – maar ek begin nou dit sterk te oorweeg dat dit die simply slim is wat my hare so laat uitval van die min eet (minder proteine so jou liggaan werk eerste om jou belangrikste organe aan die gang te hou – so jou hare ly daaraan!)

I was very excited to start with the SS program. The first morning I took it @ 6am and had such bad heart pulpitations I thought I was going to die I was only able to leave for work at 9:30 that morning. I flushed the rest down the loo.. What a load of rubbish and a waste of money!!!!
Hi, I started using Simply Slim about a month ago. I had a late pregnancy when I was 40 and gained a lot of weight (mostly due to yo-yo dieting and unhealthy habits) About 3 years ago I realized that I was compromising my health and decided to just start a program of healthy eating and moderate exercise. I lost 29kg over the three years by just healthy habits and NO diet or pills. However as it often happens I struggled with the last few kg’s and only wanted to lose 3 to 5 kg now for good. Simply Slim’s advertising ‘natural’ products with NO side effects was immediately the answer to my quest. From the first day I started using the pills I felt TERRIBLE. I felt dizzie, feelings flutuating from very emotional/depressed by times and zombie some other times.I was irritable and would have cold sweat and shivers. I could barely sleep at night. Well, I decided to still give it a go, as the symptoms would possibly/hopefully disappear with some PERSEVERANCE!! I kept on drinking the pills for 2 weeks. I was drinking a lot of water because of the dry mouth and then realized that I would have random cramping in different parts of my body. I do Pilates and had to stop because of severe cramps. My pharmacist husband then advised me to take extra minerals as it was clearly FLUSHED out of my body by the diureticum in Simply Slim. I really struggled and then just gave up as I was so tired of this very CRAPPY feeling and the effect it had on me and my loved ones. After 2 weeks I decided to give it a go once again (I mean I paid a lot of money for it and really want to get those extra kgs off before we go to the coast!!)I am halfway through this day now and I am ready to throw these pills as far as I can. I went to talk to a consultant today and she was denying that there are any complaints ever and only happy customers. It was then that I decided to search the net and see if I am really the only person on this planet who have this terrible experience of Simply Slim. I was shocked to see how many complaints there is. I would not give the pills to someone else as I am convinced that it is very dangerous and bad for your health. O! and by the way, I lost 500gram in the two weeks and gained a kilo after I stopped it. I am very careful with what I eat and still maintain a healthy diet since 3 years ago. And I am back to just that. Rather 5kg still around my waist than damaging my (still good) health – I use NO medication and has NO medical condition on 52yrs. Sorry guys THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FOR THE HEALTH CONCIOUS. Look after your body, its the only one you have.
To all of the people with side effects, any tipe of weight loss product does have different side effects and most of them are very unpleasant. Trust me I know.
But Simply Slim wich is an all natural product will definately also has its dangers that is why the sales people of SS has a whole list for people to fill in befor using this product.
In this list they do ask your medical background, if you are on any serious medication and if you do suffer from any illnesses.
I personally know that if you do take any type of thyroid medication, anything for depression, have low blood preassure or blood sugar and many more things, you are not supposed to use this product because it will definately have a negative effect. But people do lie on the forms because I know how despirate people can be to lose a couple of kilograms. I know of many people family included with high blood preasure who say they actually feel better after using SS because it does lower the blood preassure and sugar in order for it to work.
The other thing wich is also stated on the pamflet is the amount of water you do need to consume this is seriously important. If you fail to drink your 12 glasses of water you will feel ill and dizzy because SS basically drains your body of water in order for you to consume more, because as we all know water does desolve the fat in our bodies. The same goes with eating if you do not eat rerularly SS won’t work and you’ll be left feeling horrible. It is not intendet to take away your appetite and does not work like other weight loss products wich is the less you eat the more you lose.
So the main thing is that their will be side effects but if you do use SS as its intended and not use it when you are not suppose to this will not be a problem for you.
Ther are thousends of people who are completely pleased with SS because they follow the instructions and SS is actually great. But as said before it is still a weight loss drug and all of them do have side effects, unfortunately what works for one will not work for all. So maybe just try something else. Luckely SS works for many and all of them are happy with their results.
Weight loss is not an easy battle for anybody and I know (recently losing 41kg) that complaining about a product not working for you does not help, unfortunately you win some but you also lose some so try and find something different.

Dit is nie die Synephrine wat die newe effekte soos hartkloppings en slapeloosheid veroorsaak nie.. Simply Slim is hoogswaarskynlik n Chinese produk LIDA DAIDAIHAU wat net herverpak word (Verpakking is identies en net vroulike figuur anders) en wat die bestanddeel Sibutramine bevat wat in meeste lande verbied word en net onder dokters toesig gebruik mag word en wat uiters gevaarlik en fataal kan wees. Ons is in die proses of vir Sibutramine te toets (Moet eers komponent verkry om daarvoor te kan toets) .. Sal jou laat weet sodra ons uitslag het.

Ek wil net weet of die pille jou voorbehoed tablette uit kanselleer want my dokter se dat dit doen en as ek dit gebruik kan ek swanger raak al is ek op die pil. I have been on SS for 3 months now with a break in between as instructed and I have never felt better, never had so much energy and I lost 11kg, still need to lose 5kg. I must say my mouth is dry, but then I drink the water as instructed, I exercise, I eat 3 balanced meals and I feel great. First 2 days were great, felt fantastic, full of energy. On about day 10 I got out of bed in the middle of the night and almost passed out. I thought it was due to lack of food, but I had eaten! Started getting palpitations and pressure in my chest. Extreme anxiety. Crying. Illogical thoughts. Started to believe my husband was having an affair! (psychosis!!!).

Die pille gelos – ek kan nou weer slaap. Byt nie aanhoudend my onderlip nie (iets wat ek nog nooit gedoen het nie). Ek het in 15 dae nie n gram gewig verloor nie. Ek voel weer normaal – het gedink die fout le by my. Kan dink die mense kom weg daarmee nie – wie gaan hulle stop? Ek sien hulle adverteer net meer en meer.
Ek het SS vir 3 weke gebruik, 6kg verloor en was in die wolke. Uiteindelik iets wat werk. Toe tref die newe effekte my ek het by die dood omgedraai. My bloeddruk het so gedaal (78/48) hulle het my opgeneem in die hospitaal omdat hulle gedink het ek kry ‘n Stroke.(op 36) Die naarheid, duisligheig en die kopseer wat ek gehad het sal ek nie my grootste vyand toewens nie. Ek sal die produk glad nie aanbeveel nie.

As a matter of fact SS has helped me cultivate a healthier diet, meaning that I don’t have so many cravings or an indication of being sick since I started SS. Besides what are you complaining about, everybody wanted a miracle cure of obesity yet you do not consider the fact that it is painfull to be beautifull. But ofcoarse it is tipical human to try and put the blame on someone else, bti of advice to all the unhappy ones, do as the other commenter said if you don’t get the results, get excersising, and stop sitting infront off the computer lashing out about something you can’t do anything about. I have been on simply slim for two weeks… i became so dizzy and nauseous i could not drive anymore. I became so depressed, irritated, moody and than suicidal. Thats when i thought, i have to stop this tablet as it was “killing” me inside… I was loosing weight on it and am really sad that i cannot take it anymore. I was misled into believing there were no side affects as this was all but a natural product. No tablet is worth killing yourself over and luckily i stopped in time. Im just very angry about this all now. (apparently this tablet makes some people aggressive too). So much for the 7 month guarentee!

I started to take SS three days ago and the one sympton that has absolutely amazed me is that I feel incredibly LOW, cried in the hairdressers, didn’t go to work for 2 days and moped about with my kids yesterday and ended up crawling into bed in the afternoon to just sleep… I am concerned and will monitor it..

I cannot believe this product just when I think I have an answer then this? I started using this product on the 25th November and started using them the 26th November. First day I was very excited that I didn’t feel like eating like normal and that felt to me great because for once I didn’t have to worry about overeating but my joints felt weak, my eyes blurry but I thought its just a first day feeling. Was irritable the next day and at gym I was very tired and that suprised me because SS is suppose to make me more energetic.
For the past few days before SS I could walk up hill on the speed of 7 and burn 250 calories in 20 minutes my experience after SS is that I couldn’t even walk on the treadmill I ended up cycling because I needed to sit. But I thought is just my body being lazy to my suprise my whole day was heavy I had to drag myself to do everything I couldn’t even cook for my family that’s how tired I was. I also started with Flu symptoms and went to get something from the chemist to stop it, and felt the flu symptoms go a little but aching joints, fatique and blurred vision didn’t stop.
This morning I woke up still tired and I forgot my SS at work so couldn’t drink them before 10 am but round about 10h30 when I got to the office, then I even recommemnded them to a friend, but something told me to just look at the ingredients and their side effects as I was intending to sell the product. Before I drank them this morning I didn’t feel that bad it felt like I’m almost normal but now its like 3 hours after consumption I have the same feeling as other days. I regret why I drank them to start with because just like 2 hours after drinking them I discovered this website because I couldn’t understand why do I feel the way that I do if this is all “herbal”, “natural”, with no additives and side effects?
I’m very dissapointed but I knew that there’s actually no quick fix we all need to go back to the drawing board and eat healthy and do our best to control our cravings otherwise our desperation will kill us. Ek gebruik SS nou al aan en af vir 2 maande – drink dit vir 2 weke los dit vir ‘n naweek en so aan. Voor ek die produk begin gebruik het, het ek vir hulle ‘n epos gestuur om uit te vind of ek die produk kan gebruik aangesien ek in 2005 gediagnoseer was met borskanker (alles gelukkig verwyder en al 4jr kanker vry)en ek is op anti-kanker meds. Ek het na 2 weke ook erge hartkloppings ervaar – dit het gevoel of ek angs aanvalle kry en dit gedurende ‘n Audit by die werk. Ek het dit toe gelos vir ‘n paar dae en weer besig en ek bly met die hartkloppings. Ek het goed verloor in die eerste 4 weke (8kg), maar ek bly liewer oorgewig en gesond as maer en dodelik siek. Hi, I started using Simply Slim just over a month ago. I am a healthy person and exercise from a Monday to a Thursday and my eating program stayed more or less the same, but my appetite decrease. I drank about nine to ten classes of water a day. My goal was to loose between five to eight kilograms. I experienced side effects like a dry mouth and heart palpitations while using the product and was also experienced difficulty sleeping.
I recently got flu and the doctor prescribed a five day course of Antibiotics. I took the antibiotic together with the daily Simply Slim tablet and on the third day of the course, I had a bad experience in the afternoon.
I started to feel dizzy and wanted to pass out. I was short of breath and broke out in a cold sweat, and had pins and needles in my hands and feet and experienced heart palpitations. The muscles in my hands and feet and mouth started contracting.
I was taken to hospital and was given oxygen and tablets for anxiety. Four days later I phoned Dr. Serfontein from Simply Slim and explained my situation and he assured me that my condition was not caused by the tablet, but by a lack of food intake.
To make a long story short I landed up in hospital for a third time that same week. Tests were done, because I suffered again from symptoms like wanting to pass out (faint), heart palpitations, a pain in my chest and arms, dizziness, shortness of breath, no energy and a dry mouth. At this stage my oxygen level was also low and my blood pressure was high.
The Specialist Physician and the Cardiologist were furious when they heard that I was taking diet medication and told my husband to get rid of it. I am back at work and I am still not feeling as I did before I started taking Simply Slim. I feel I have to notify you about my condition as this can easily happen to other people.
All I have been doing differently for the last month is taking Simply Slim and eating less than normally although I have not stopped eating totally. I drank a lot of water and my exercise routine stayed the same.
I was alarmed by what happened to me and would like my experience to serve as a warning to other Simply Slim users to be careful.
What a load of rubbish these pills are!! I also took them for a week and actually could not function properly while on them at all. I had insomnia, dizzines and no appetite at all. In fact I could hardly eat at all. I am about 3 ks’s overweight and I do gym regularly, but I could not even drag my body to the gym. I since contacted a consultant about the 11% other ingredients, but I guess these consultants are only trained to tell you that a months supply costs R590. So far I have heard of the following: a student of mine landed up in hospital having some type of fits after taking the pills for a month. A collague of mine landed up in hospital with depression and my brothers girlfriend is currently undergoing cardiac testing as they believe that the tablets could have caused heart problems. The cardiologist is currently investigating as she is not the only patient he has examined with problems after taking Simply Slim.

Vandag het ek besluit om dit te staak!!! Ag nee wat die lewe is te kort om so sleg te voel en dit alles net om jou laaste 4 kg na jou doelgewig te verloor!! Ek is nogal vies vir myself, behalwe vir die geld wat “down the drain” is voel ek eerlik dat ek my gesonheid op die spel geplaas het. Dit is mos nie die moeite werd om die volgende newe effekte te he net om maer te wees nie? Ek het 1 kg in die paar dae verloor, maar die prys wat mens daarvoor betaal is vir my te hoog en mens gaan BESLIS daai gewig tjop-tjop wees optel.
Ek gaan net die newe-effekte gee wat onuithoudbaar was : dit het gevoel of iemand my bors inmekaar druk, my oe was branderig en het dik gevoel, ek het hoendervleis gekry, ek kon nie ‘n nag deur slaap nie, selfs wanneer ek die meeste oggende die pilletjie net na 5 gedrink het. Ek was ongelooflik geirriteerd en dit het gevoel of iets my jaag. My konsentrasie was “gone” Ek was depressed!!! Dit het eerlik gevoel of ek geen persoonlikheid gehad het nie. Ek was so emosioneel soos’n vrou met erge PMS.
Nee wat girls, doen liewer die gesonde eet oefen ding, anders gaan jy net verloor!!!!

My fiance went to the dr. the Dr tell him that he is drinking something that course problems to his kidneys,and that he’s hart beat is defnitley not the same as 3 months ago,
i have been on ss for 8 days, lost 3kg battling to sleep, but worst is dry mouth! Drank more than 3l water today and did not take the tablet because mouth and throat feel awful. Still as bad today as yesterday, effect has not worn off! Can this be dangerous??
Yes, it’s terrible. The 1st evening after i took my first simply slim my whole skin was itching, as well as inside my ears and my nose. I had to take Anthihistamine and that helped.
This is shocking. The product information is misleading and incomplete regarding medical conditions that could be worsened if using SS. They are making millions out of a dangerous half-truth. I have been using the product for two weeks – it works for the weight – the rest is turned to shambles.
Johan, have you investigated the resemblance between SS and the diet pill Lida daidaihau?
Do yourself a favour, google Lida daidaihau Simply slim in the same sentence…….

I used SS for about 2 weeks, I was fine the first week but after about 10 days I could nt stop crying and was suicidal.
My eyes were burning and irritataed I couldnt wear my contact lenses. I stopped the pills, but started it again after about 3 weeks and the same thing happened.
Crying and suicidal. OMG! Not good at all!

I took SS for 1 week adn almost passed out at the office – went to 2 hospitals and eventually to a GP where everyone was notified that I had been taking SS for a week. None of them except the GP said that “all medicines come from plants – therefore are herbal….” – including heroin and ephedrine…. go figure. I was told that I had a Viral infection (which could not be named – obviously) and have been booked off work for 7 days. I was anxious, depressed, tearful, dazed, very confused and feld like a dog. I would just like to find out if anyone has any idea as to how long this substance stays in your system for as i am still feeling anxious and feint every now and again and am still suffereing from insomnia and have been off it for 2 weeks.

Any comments please my sister was admitted to hospital today she drove for one hour on the freeway in a confused and disorientated state, eventually went to a hospital, her blood pressure was at a danger level, she was so dehydrated that they could not even get the iv in. She has been taking them for 2 months and stopped 4 days ago, she also takes zolphihexal, do you think the mixture of the two caused her to find herself in such a dangerous situation.
Started using in yesterday and have a terrible runny nose, sinus, and pain in my lungs. I don’t smoke and is only 31 years old. I am healthy and only about 3 Kg overweight.

I experienced the same terrible symptoms after just 3 days. Last night I thought I had a relapse of tick bite fever!!! I left a comment elsewhere about the risk to people with porphyria. Many caucasian (white and light) South Africans might be predispositioned to develop accute porhyria – but many of us are ignorant about this very South African specific disease. There is a WHOLE LIST of medication that can actually CAUSE a porphyria attack. Go and read it for yourself on Health24. Simply Slim may not be used by people with porphyria. But what about those that don’t know they are actually at risk? My guess is that I might be a porphiria candidate (yes, I am VERY sensitive to the sun, but until yesterday I NEVER knew that could be a sign of porphyria). So, maybe the makers of Simply Slim, South Africa’s MOST DISCUSSED appetite suppressant, should make porphyria screening compulsory before selling the product. It sounds like prescription medicine to me….

Is this trial acceptable if it excludes this info or should users be made aware of the fact that it has not been tested on the abovementioned people and they don’t know if there may be side effects?

I can understand that there may be many people who do not have side effects and feel that this is an amazing product. What concerns me is that it could also be detrimental to the health of some others. Why are they ignoring the fact that some people experience serious side effects and why are they hiding it??? Are they more afraid of the effect on the number of sales than the fact that it might actually kill someone who shouldn’t be using it?
I have been using SS for 6 days, yesterday I started feeling extremely dizzy, felt disorientated and started getting heart palpitations. AS SS is a “Herbal” product I never thought it to be the reason. This morning I decided to google the product for side effects and I was shocked to see how many other people have also had the same effects. Unfortunately I have already taken my tablet for the day, should I have known I would definitely have stopped taken the product immediately!
The product leaflet states that NO side effects have been recorded to date and I am shocked to see that this is not true.

I have started with SS about 2 weeks ago. I have lost 3 kgs but suddenly I experienced tightness in my chest, dizzyness and feeling realy horrible. I thought I was having heart problems or something and wanted to go and see my doctor. I decided to check on internet on side effects as I was told there are no side effects. When I read all the comments on this site, I was so shocked to see other people with the same side effects. I can’t understand why only now after 2 weeks I am feeling so bad! I will skip a couple of days taking the tablet to see whether it is SS or not, but I am definately feeling horrible!
Hi, there. I am so glad to see that I am not the only one experiencing side effects on SS. I initially felt wonderful when I started, but by day 10…I felt dreadful! I stopped SS for a few days, thinking it cant be the tablets as nobody was complaining and everyone was losing weight. So, I went back on the tablets and another 10 days later, I am feeling WORSE than ever. My symptoms: dizziness, disorientated, depressed and cannot concentrate which has been affecting my work! Not to mention, the exhaustion by early evening and then lying awake at night. A friend at work also stopped after a few weeks as she could not stop crying… It made her very emotional! Her husband on the other hand is doing very well. I guess it just does not agree with some pple. I must add that I did lose 2.5kgs in the 1st 3 days only…nothing after that, but its not worth feeling like this. Also, in the last few days, complaints have been cropping up on http://www.hellopeter.co.za, if anyone is interested. So, Good luck to those using SS. I am throwing my box away!
Hi, I started using SS two weeks ago and after the first week I have experienced dizziness to the extent of thinking I had middle ear infection, I am now cured from using SS after reading these reviews
My wife started using SS a couple of weeks ago. She got some capsules from a friend of hers. Couple of days later she started having trouble to breathe deeply and experience some dizziness. At that time we did not expect the SS capsules and thought she must be getting a cold or something else. We have since then paid around R2800 on medical bills to get her breathing problems sorted. She was even tested for H1N1. About a week ago her friend started showing the same symptoms of shortness of breath and her doctor told her to immediately stop using SS.
My question is does anyone else have these same symptoms using SS?

I am a 29 year old female who wanted to lose that last 5kg and I bought Simply Slim with the impression that a “100% herbal product” could do me no harm and that there would be no side effects.
I experienced heart palpitations, insomnia, irritability, dizziness, lack of concentration (in fact even though I showed up for work, I didnt work for a full week), and my eyes were burning and irritated all the time.
After my first day of feeling so horrible, I decided that I would stop using it and my fiance told me to either throw it away or give it away (since his impression was that it was exactly the same as Thins wich has been removed from the shelves,) but on the Monday I felt fat after the weekend’s binging. I kept drinking the pills for the remainder of the week and even though the symptoms stayed the same, I did actually loose 2kg’s since I didnt eat much.
but i have given the pills away since i am not prepared to go through a whole week of feeling like crap and having no personality!
My impression is that Simply Slim is an appetite supressant with the same effects that any illegal appetite suppressant has.

so there you have – use simply slim but drink no coffee and drink 3 lt of water – but if you do use coffee and don’t drink 3lt of water when you use simply slim the wonder herbal drug tablet you will get “shortness of breath, dizziness, low blood pressure, heart palpitations” yah and i can fly as well

@antonia: my box say :”if on medication take under supervison of you doctor” i am not on any medication and they told me it is ok to take it if i had a sugar problem – they said it will make it better. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP
